Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Algiz Guard (“Service”) - including the website at https://www.thealgizguard.com and the iOS/Android applications - you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. The Service is designed for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@thealgizguard.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their explicit consent, or use another person’s account without permission.

4. Membership & Subscriptions

Access to certain programs within the Service (The Algiz Guard, Nice Guy Funeral, The Masculine Mandates) requires an active paid membership. Memberships are billed on the schedule described at the time of purchase.

Subscriptions are managed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice to active subscribers. Access may also be granted manually by an administrator independent of a Stripe subscription.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post to the Service (community posts, comments, challenge check-ins). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the Service.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
• Infringes any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights
• Contains spam, unsolicited advertising, or malicious code
• Impersonates any person or entity
• Violates the spirit or values of the community as determined by moderators

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these standards, at our sole discretion and without notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users’ accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or copy content from the Service without permission
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Share your account credentials or membership access with others
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service without our written consent

7. Intellectual Property

All content provided by us - including text, graphics, logos, course materials, audio/video recordings, and software - is the exclusive property of The Algiz Guard or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without explicit written permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

The content provided through the Service - including coaching materials, community discussions, and programme content - is for informational and personal development purposes only. It does not constitute professional psychological, medical, financial, or legal advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Algiz Guard and its officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service - even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@thealgizguard.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, conduct harmful to other users, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if unresolved, through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
